The Creative Process of a Design Photoshoot
Project Kick-off
At the outset, we will discuss project details, location, timeline and overall photo needs. I engage clients in a comprehensive discussion to understand their vision, objectives, and preferences. This phase lays the foundation for the creative process, where we delve into the functional requirements and aspirations of the project.
Organizing the Photo Session
In order to craft the photo session, the best time of day will be determined based on sun and location positioning. A site scouting will be performed if applicable, and the photoshoot date will be scheduled. The client will prepare the space to be captured.
Photoshoot Day
On the day of the photoshoot, we will arrive on site and assess the weather and sun strength. We will then arrange and style the space to capture the images. Depending on the nature of the project, this is typically an essential collaboration between the client and myself. We want each detail to be just right through the lens!
Image Processing & Delivery
With the photos captured, I orchestrate the processing of the images. The client and I collaborate on selecting the best images for final processing, ensuring every detail aligns with the intended result. I actively seek feedback on the images, facilitating an iterative process that hones in on the perfect balance between client vision and my photography expertise. This collaborative approach ensures the final images surpass expectations.
